• Is Ajar free?

  Yes, and it stays free. We never charge for access to an opportunity, and we never take a fee from an application. If a listing on this site asks you to pay to apply, it does not belong here — tell us at abuse@seeajar.com and we will take it down.

• Who publishes these opportunities?

  The organisations themselves. We collect what they publish, translate the essentials into one format, and link you back to their own page. We do not run the application, and we are not the employer or the funder.

• Do you apply for me?

  No. Every listing sends you to the organisation's own site, and that is where you apply. It is also where you should confirm the deadline and the requirements before you rely on them.

• Do I need an account?

  Not to search, read or apply — all of that works signed out. An account does two things: it keeps a list of what you saved, and it can email you before a saved deadline closes.

• Someone asked me for a fee. Is that normal?

  No. A genuine employer, funder or university does not ask a candidate for a registration fee, a visa fee or a payment to release an offer. Stop, do not pay, and tell us at abuse@seeajar.com.

• Can we list our opportunity here?

  Yes. Write to partners@seeajar.com with a link to the page where it is published. Listing is free, and we will link to your own page rather than copying the application.

• A listing is wrong or has closed. Can you remove it?

  Yes, and quickly. Send the link to hello@seeajar.com. Organisations asking for a removal can use the route set out on the terms page.
