General Information • Department: Media • Job Title: Media Officer • Job Location: Aleppo Overview of Bonyan Organization Bonyan is an independent non-profit organization established in 2004 in Aleppo, Syria, and officially licensed in Turkey in 2014. Our response program focuses on three main areas: Education, Protection, and Livelihoods. Vision We envision a developed and responsible population capable of contributing to the rebirth of Syrian society and the development of its civilization. Mission To improve the quality of education and instill core values that contribute to the rise of Syrian society. Our Values • Proficiency • Initiative • Welfare • Abundance Job Purpose Photographing and documenting all project activities and events. Duties and Responsibilities 1. Documenting all the organization's activities and events for all project. 2. Documenting and archiving photos and videos,and sorting usable photographic materials. 3. Filming human interest stories and success stories for marketing purposes. 4. Continuously researching media materials and proposing new ideas. 5. Proficiency in using professional cameras and equipment. 6. Proficiency in using lighting and its accessories. 7 bility to process, edit, and correct image imperfections. 8. Ability to retouch, resize, and enhance images as needed using Photoshop or other software. 9. Ability to create effective promotional presentations for activities. 10. Advanced knowledge of photographic design relevant to humanitarian work and proficiency in design software such as Photoshop and Illustrator. 11. Advanced knowledge of video editing techniques and the production of promotional videos, and proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro. Academic Qualifications, Requirements, and Skills Academic Qualifications: A university degree or high school diploma is the minimum requirement.
