IDA is an international independent non-governmental organization providing medical and humanitarian assistance to people affected by conflicts, natural disasters and epidemics regardless of race, religion, gender or political affiliation. IDA was founded in 2012 by Syrian doctors from Aleppo in response to the healthcare and humanitarian crisis in Syria. IDA Syria is the main healthcare provider in the Northern Aleppo/Syria area, working closely with 500,000 IDPs and 700,000 host communities through 20 healthcare facilities and other health and nutrition projects During last year, IDA has provided 1.2 million services in Heath, Nutrition, WaSH and Camp Management Location : Syria - Northern Deir alzoor countryside :Abo Khashab PHC Duties and Responsibilities: 1- Implementing Community Activities Organize and conduct awareness sessions related to gender-based violence and protection. Support the implementation of recreational, educational, and empowerment activities for women and girls. Contribute to the establishment and operation of safe spaces for women and girls when needed. Facilitate discussion groups and various community activities. 2- Community Awareness and Outreach Disseminate information about available services and how to access them. Build positive relationships with community members, leaders, and local stakeholders. Promote messages related to violence prevention, gender equality, and protection. Contribute to identifying the needs and risks faced by women and girls in the community. 3- Case Identification and Safe Referral Identify individuals at risk or in need of support. Provide information about available services and make safe referrals according to established procedures. Support access to specialized services without managing cases unless specifically assigned. Adhere to the principle of informed consent before any referral. 4- Information Gathering and Reporting Documenting implemented activities, participant numbers, and outputs. Preparing and submitting periodic reports to the direct supervisor. Contributing to the collection of community data using approved tools. Reporting challenges, risks, and incidents related to the program. 5- Coordination and Relationship Building Coordinating with other teams within the organization to ensure service integration. Participating in relevant coordination meetings and activities. Supporting community initiatives that promote protection and prevention of violence. 6- Adherence to Humanitarian Standards and Principles Committing to the principles of protection and gender-based violence. Maintaining confidentiality and respecting the privacy of beneficiaries. Adhering to the Child Protection and Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) policies. Applying the principles of non-discrimination, respect, and accountability to the community.

• Minimum high school diploma; a diploma or university degree in social sciences or a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience in community work, protection programs, or community awareness initiatives.
• Training in protection and gender-based violence is preferred.
• Required Skills
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
• Ability to work with diverse community groups.
• Skills in organizing and managing community activities.
• Ability to build trust and positive relationships with community members.
• Basic report writing and computer skills.
• Ability to work in the field and travel as needed.
• Languages
• Fluency in spoken and written Arabic.
• Knowledge of English or relevant local languages ​​is preferred.
• Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Number and quality of awareness sessions and community activities implemented.
• Level of beneficiary participation in activities.
• Number of safe referrals implemented according to established procedures.
• Quality of reports and adherence to deadlines.
• Adherence to the principles of protection, confidentiality, and the code of conduct.
