Starting salary: $37,016 USD Contract: One year, subject to funding Location: Juba, South Sudan, with regular travel across the country Reports to: Head of Programmes Travel: Approximately 12 weeks per year About the role CTP South Sudan is seeking an experienced Programme Quality Coordinator to lead and strengthen Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) across its programmes and partnerships. You will provide technical support to programme teams and partners, helping ensure programmes meet organisational quality standards, donor requirements and the Core Humanitarian Standard. You will strengthen accountability to communities, improve data and evidence, support learning and contribute to programme design and decision-making. The role includes coordinating MEAL systems, assessments and evaluations, data-quality processes, learning activities and partner capacity strengthening. You will also support Safe, Accessible, Dignified and Inclusive (SADI) programming, working closely with safeguarding and sector specialists. Key responsibilities • Coordinate and improve country MEAL systems, tools, indicators and monitoring processes. • Provide technical input to programme design, theories of change, results frameworks and MEAL plans. • Lead or coordinate assessments, evaluations, surveys and data-quality processes. • Analyse programme data and ensure credible, accurate and traceable evidence. • Strengthen community feedback, accountability, inclusion and participation. • Support learning, after-action reviews, reporting and evidence-based programme adaptation. • Build partner capacity through training, mentoring and technical support. • Coordinate with country, regional and head-office teams and relevant external stakeholders. • Manage direct reports and undertake regular field visits across South Sudan.
