Job Title: Psychologist Job location: Syria – Homs Reports to: Admin Worker Job Style: Parttime JOB SUMMARY The Psychologist is responsible for facilitating group therapy sessions focused on trauma recovery and providing individualized therapy for cases requiring additional support. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The Psychologist has the following responsibilities and duties: 1. Lead group therapy sessions focusing on trauma recovery. 2. Provide tailored individual therapy sessions based on patient needs. 3. Apply evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and trauma-focused therapy. 4. Regularly assess and monitor patient progress. 5. Collaborate with the therapeutic team to ensure integrated care. QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS Should have the following skills, education, and experience: · Master’s degree or higher degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or a closely related field (required). · Additional training or certification in trauma-focused therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), or related modalities is highly desirable. · Experience in facilitating group therapy sessions, particularly for trauma-affected individuals or communities. · Familiarity with MHPSS principles and guidelines. · Strong commitment to patient care and safety. · Fluency in Arabic is required. · Working proficiency in English is an asset.
